My sweetheart!

This is my sweetheart, I am so proud of her! She is called Ulla, probably the most sexist name ever! I think Jason found a nickname that really suit me well. (Killa). Oh Yeah baby! There is only one problem through; it's not working:(. I have no idea what's wrong with it, and I am going on a project to morrow to Grand Canyon again again, so I will first be ably to get it to work in 5 or 6 days. I'm going to kill birds, dogs, cats even humans with it. Some might say I am evil, but that's just the way I am...

Anyway do you guys think I can bring it on the airplane in my big backpack, without losing it or get arrested for attempted terror?

Grand Canyon

The project at the Grand Canyon were great!! I was suppose to be at the big campsite together with Josh, but when we arrived Gavin told me to go down in the canyon with Mikkel, Rune and 3x Chris. We hiked around 3 miles the first day before we found a very nice campsite, were we camped for the night. The next morning we hiked 5 miles down the canyon to we found a campsite at a small river. It was a awesome campsite, just in the middle of a dryed river. The first couple of days we could sit in tshirts in the evening playing cards, but then it started to rain for 2 hole days. So in the middle of the night Gavin woke us up because of the rain and we had to find a new campsite. The dryed river were suddenly not that dry anymore, so if we stayed there all our stuff would have been very wet... The next morning we had to work the hole day in the damn rain, and the next day wasn't any better. So no one was very happy and the mood was a bit negative.
Then the day came when we had to hike back to the big campsite. We all wanted to see the Colorado river before we left so we went all the way down to it. When we came back we started the long hike back to the big campsite on the top of the South Rim. 8 miles doesn't sound to be a big problem, but with a 60-70 pounds backpack and all the way is just up, up, up it was very hard. The hike almost killed me, but I was not the only one suffering. All in all we hiked 11-12 miles that day so my legs were useless the next couple of days.

Thanksgiving with ACE

As Jason wrote it : "I love you" This was my first real thanksgiving, and I love it! All from ACE were invited to the thanksgiving which were hold in a church in Flagstaff. Allison and the girls from the white house were making the dinner, and they sure did a good job! (but the one I made with Simon and Mikkel was a bit better) Anyway Chris Baker and Annis was at Bakers parents, so we decided to bring alcohol. Well the supervisors knew it but they didn't say anything about it, cause nobody got drunk. After the Great thanksgiving we took back to the old house and started to play poker. I got pretty pissed, but compared to Mikkel it was nothing. Some of the Koreans girls tried to learn us some of there's funny games and Mikkel got very in to it. At 4 am I went to bed and that's about it. It will sure take me some time to forget that night!

Next project

Tomorrow me and Mikkel is going to Grand Canyon, again the South Rim. I am starting to like trailwork and I like to be at the Grand Canyon, so I am looking forward to get away from Flagstaff. This time Josh is the supervisor, together with Gavin so it can't go wrong. Last time Lindsey were the supervisor and she didn't really know what to do at the trail so we were more or less by us self. I will be back from the Canyon the 24. and then Allinson is going to make a Christmas turkey for everyone who signed up for it. I don't really like Allinson, she just stolen the old house radio and that just makes me more mad at her. But I am going to take it back today, 'cause she just went on a project today. The only thing I dislike about the Canyon project is the 7 miles hike up and down the trail each day. The first couple of times is okay, but after the 4th. time its get boring. I gtg and make me some lunch.

btw. we got a new couple. Ester and Danish the Menace is together now. They kept humping all the night so I am kind of tired now.

Belgians...

I might as well tell you the hole story about the Belgians...

Friday night after a party at Charlies, Sandrin from Belgian got arrested 'cause she had some marijuana on her. She was driving home with a friend drunk, that's why the police caught her. Anyway she was lucky, only her friend got all the trouble. Chris Baker found out of it because the police dropped her at the old house. So she had to go visit him today... She was not kicked home, but I think it was pretty close. Dennis the Danish guy had to visit Chris Baker today as well, 'cause of the "pee'ing in the room thing" he did 1 week ago. He told me if he had denied it he would have been kicked home, 'cause Chris were very pissed.

Ester another Belgian, got a nasty call from her bank yesterday about her visacard. Someone had copied the card and used it in Australia. She had lost 500.000 franc, which is around 15.000 dollars.

that's about it - over and out

Skt. Mortens aften

As you might know it was "Skt. Mortens aften" yesterday in Denmark. So me and Mikkel is going to cook a turkey to night! I can't wait for the sweat taste of good meat and potatoes:) We bought a 12lb turkey yesterday and so far we are only 3 people who is going to eat it. Some of the Danish guys are going to San Diego to day so they can't help us out, but I am sure we can eat the turkey all by us self. I am not going to San Diego 'cause we have to rent a car to get there and its so expensive. I was hoping that we could borrow one of the vans from Chris Baker to get there, but that was not possible this time. Anyway I am looking forward to the turkey to night! see you all soon back in Denmark

Hi everyone!

I have made this Blog to make it a lot easier to update you all on what I am up to... Feel welcome to write some comments.

I just arrived to Flagstaff after spending 8 days in the Grand Canyon (The South Rim) building a 8 mile trail. The Crew were as following: Lindsey(supervisor), Mikkel(DK), Rune(DK), Simon(DK), Julia(Swe), Cornelia(Swe), Niklas(Swe), Sanne(Swe), Ester(B), Raphael(B).

Well, Grand Canyon is the most beautiful place I have ever been to, and working there was just great! We had a very good crew, and the weather were fine, at least the first 4 days. We were suppose to work 6 days on the trail but on the 4.th day it started to rain very heavy, so Lindsey decided to take a day off. I slept in the van the last night with Ester, Lindsey, Julia and Rune 'cause everything were so wet and it was very windy. The next day I got the flu, so I didn't go to work, but the rest of the crew went down and came back 5 pm. We all decided to pack all the things together and drive back to Flagstaff.

I took a lot of nice pictures, and I am planning on adding some of them on this link.
